An Evaluation of League of Legends ‘Training’

Mode in Effectively Teaching Players the Game’s Mechanics.


An ACM scientific report into the usability of League of Legend’s ‘Training’ mode (as of December 2021) as well as findings from a telemetry analysis regarding parameters to do with player activity in Ranked-mode.

Why this project?


This project is a demonstration of my data analysis and research skills, which I believe to be crucial towards successfully managing a project and being succinct with communication and language. This is important in being able to focus different ideas and plans that can contribute towards a games' successful vision.


Usability testing was performed in order to analyse the effectiveness of the training mode by having participants perform playtests and data analysis was run in Python to ascertain parameters that contribute towards the efficacy of the research statement.
